*2025 Painting in series #3 for this exhibit, inspired from *ceramic OUR HOUSE

(Barbara Slitkin "OUR HOUSE" (From my earliest memories series) OUR HOUSE is titled as is the song by Crosby, Stills and Nash. The lyric brings to me the feelings of being nurtured and sustained. It describes in very simple terms the house and how it holds the love and all its cherished attributes.   *Ceramic version also seen here: https://nyartistscircle.com/curated-shows/seeing-music#gallery115-5)

Join us for the in-person debut of Seeing Music Live, presented by the New York Artists Circle. The exhibition explores the connection between visual art and sound. Curated by Yvonne Lamar-Rogers and Cheryl Aden, the show features works inspired by music that moves, grounds, or transforms—music that shapes memory, mood, and creative process. Artists respond to rhythm, harmony, repetition, and improvisation, translating sound into visual form. Originally launched online, this in-person exhibition invites viewers to experience the ways in which art can echo the emotional force of music—offering a rich, sensory experience that resonates beyond the gallery walls
